  • Andi, Penny, and Kay,
Just learned about the passing of your mom. It doesn’t seem possible as she always seemed so youthful and energetic and never seemed to age. I often ran into her while shopping and we’d have a good visit, laugh, and catch up. In fact, it wasn’t that long ago she told me she had moved to Riverton. I’ll miss her and the connection to so many folks that are gone also. She was truly a lovely person. We lost a good one.
My sympathy to all of you and your families,

  • I did not know Nina personally. I met her personally when I started officiating. My memory of her is more as a player and her the ref. I wanted to send a note as she may have been the most kind and courteous official I ever dealt with as a player. She seemed the same no matter where I came across her. Blessings to your family.

  • My first memories of Mrs. Barlow, were when I was in first or second grade living on Craighill Street in ‘south’ Richland. She was always so nice. Her daughter Kay and I were the same age and good friends until my family moved and we had to change schools. But, over the past 45+ years, I’d run into Mrs. Barlow from time to time and share a hug, a smile, and a few memories. She was a very special person who touched many lives on her journey through this life.
To the family, may God Bless you and give you peace.
    Love,
    Vanessa and the Mitchell Family

  • I was blessed to meet Nina several years ago when I served as R.S. President. Our visits were always so much fun and I knew I could always count on her to get out to visit her ladies the first day of every month! I’d never met anyone who had done that before. I am so grateful to have known her. She loved her family so much and I know you all will miss her very much.

  • I knew Nina for many years, watching her play softball with my sister in the good old days, then as a co worker with Richland food service. She was such a wonderful person, always had that beautiful smile on her face.
I thought of her often, even was thinking of her the day she passed.
She loved her family, talked of them often.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
