Richard “Dick” C. Cecil Sr.

Dick Cecil, age 91, passed away on January 28, 2016 in Richland, Washington at Guardian Angel. He was born on July 20, 1924 in Walla Walla, Washington. Dick went right into the Navy after High School where he served in World War II. Dick lived in the Tri-Cities for approximately 50 years and spent most of his adult life as a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of the VFW (Richland Post), and the Eagle’s of Kennewick.  Dick was preceded in death by his Mother, Father, Sister, Brother and Daughter. He is survived by his sons, Richard C. Cecil Jr and Micky Cecil; daughter, Sharon Armstrong; Grandchildren, Vicky, Denise, Kathy, Rick, Dustin, Chris, Heather and Kali; many great grandchildren; and adopted daughter, Carol Wyant as he would call her.

A memorial service will be held at Events at Sunset on February, 5^th at 3:00 p.m. Commemorative donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Washington State Chapter.
