Andrea M. Kafentzis

Andrea M. Kafentzis was born on July 19^th, 1929 in Missoula, MT where he met his future wife Beverly Yvonne Ghirardo.  Beverly and Andy married and settled in Richland, WA in 1953 where they raised their family.  Andy was preceded in death by his beloved wife Beverly whom he was married to for 65 years.  More than a hero and a great inspiration to so many, Andy always held himself to a higher standard and always placed others before himself.  He selflessly served his country in Korea and was awarded the Bronze Star, one of our nation’s highest medals.  His faithfulness to his family is what will always set him apart.  They are his legacy that will live on.

 Andy leaves behind 13 Children, 34 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren.  The Kafentzis family would like to thank the VA, caregivers and hospice for their excellent care!

The viewing will be Friday, May 20^th from 12:00 – 7:00 followed by the Rosary Service at Events at Sunset. The Funeral will be on Saturday, May 21^st at 2:00 at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by a graveside service at Sunset Memorial Garden.  There will be a reception following from 4:00 – 6:00 at The Events at Sunset Building.
