Larry Wayne Holloway

Larry was born January 4, 1945 in Richland, WA. He passed away at home surrounded by his family on May 12, 2016 from aggressive lung and bone cancer.

He loved motorcycles, fishing, scuba diving, barbequing, target shooting and playing cards. An avid RVer; and he enjoyed spending his winters in Arizona and made many friends there.

He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the Navy aboard the USS Carol Sea as an electrician mate. He graduated from CBC in 1966 and DeVry Institute in 1973 with degrees in Electronics Operations Technology. He retired from Areva in 2005.

Larry was preceded in death by his father, Joe Holloway; his beloved first wife, Barbara D. Holloway; his brother, Robert “Bobby” Holloway; and his brother-in-law, WM. Morris Massey.

He leaves behind his second beloved wife, Mary E. Massey Holloway; his mom, Susie Ball Belts; his brothers, Loren Holloway (Corky), Wyman Belts (Robin), sister, Desiree Dunnigan (Steve); stepchildren, Mike Colligan, Melissa Shelly (Robert), Meghan Rittmann (Dan); 12 grandchildren including Miss Peyton who gave him great joy.; two great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles and his much loved fur-baby, Jasmine.

A Memorial of Larry’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 500 P.M. at the Living Room Church, 1409 S. Garfield, Kennewick, WA.
