What a beautiful and loving Christian woman, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend Birdie was. She lived a life of humility, kindness and service to others. She taught her children how to love unconditionally, and if you know all her children, you are aware what a fine job she did!! She was adventurous and enjoyed all aspects of life. We had the honor of spending time with Birdie when we came for Jane and Doug’s wedding in 2009; she was delightful to socialize with, and kept busy in the kitchen to ensure perfection and that we all had enough to eat. Sweet sweet woman, who had strength enough for many. Her faith carried her through this life’s journey, and now as promised by God, she has eternal life. As you mourn the loss of this awesome woman, just rest assured that her spirit is soaring!
Love and take care of each other. And remember her in all you do, because she is such a part of you.

I always enjoyed chatting with Birdie and listening to her stories. I will remember her advice, wit and humor. She was always positive and always greeted you with a smile. Birdie was a remarkable lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Fred Kremmer and all of your family. May you be comforted by God’s loving peace and grace.

I did not know her, but I have recently had the opportunity to meet and get to know two of her children. They are fantastic, wonderful, and caring people and she must have been an incredible lady herself to have raised the people that I have had the privilege to meet. I am saddened to hear of the loss, and my thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time.

What pure joy to have known Birdie! She was one of the most gracious people I have ever known. Her smile was infectious and I can’t remember an unkind word ever being spoken by her. My favorite memory is when she tried to make the custard of lemon that I loved in my grandmother’s lemon meringue pie. She gave it four tries and just couldn’t believe it was to be even more tart. When my sons heard she had gone to be with the Lord the one immediately said, “Well now she has talked with Deer Nana and knows how many lemons to use for the pie”. I praise the Lord I had the privilege of knowing Birdie!

Bill and I were so very saddened by your terrible loss. Although I didn’t know this lovely woman well, I knew from my conversations with her that she loved her family more than anything else in the world. You have been a huge part of our lives and we are very glad you shared in our joys. Your words of advice and encouragement or just a listening ear have helped us see more of how beautiful life is. You will always be that special “Mom” in our lives who always listened while we talked, never discouraged or judged us but always encouraged us.

Lord Jesus, we beseech your infinite mercy for Mom Birdie who you have taken in her final steps towards new and everlasting life. You promised eternal salvation so generously to all who believe in you. Lord, we are yours and you are with us. In your infinite goodness. please grant Mom Birdie eternal rest and may your perpetual light shine upon her.
