Irene Elizabeth Page, 94, of Richland WA, passed away on February 11, 2017.

Irene was born September 12, 1922 in Julian, CA and grew up on the family farm.  As a young adult, Irene moved to the Los Angeles area where she worked as a bookkeeper and accountant.  In 1960 Irene married Thomas Page.  After having three children, Irene and family lived in several locations across the country before settling in Eastern Washington in 1980.

Irene worked as an accountant for many years at the Joint Center for Graduate Studies.  Irene was also a member of the local area Master Gardeners.

Irene and Tom retired to a small three acre farm near Whitstran, WA where they enjoyed gardening, raising chickens and giving a home to many stray dogs and cats.  Irene enjoyed quilting and needlework and would regularly enter examples of her work in the local county fairs.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Nellie, siblings Leo and Pearl and her husband Tom and is survived by her sister Hazel McCrary, her daughter Tere, sons Jon (Jenny) and Joel, and grandchildren Ellie, Jack, Woody and Nathan.

A private family service will be planned for a later date.
