Debi Zaring

Debi Yadao Zaring, 56, passed away September 8, 2017 after a brief battle with leukemia. She was the daughter of Juanita & Jerry Yadao and Cres Ramirez. A Celebration of Life open-house reception will be held Friday, September 15th from 1–4 PM at the Richland Community Center. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations please be made to the memorial.

Debi was born October 21, 1960 in Toppenish, WA, but considered herself a lifelong resident of the Tri-Cities, where she graduated from Kennewick High School in 1979. Debi worked at Columbia Basin Prosthetics & Orthotics in Kennewick. In 1998, she married Eric Zaring. Debi was an avid gardener who had an impeccable yard and a garden full of fresh vegetables. She enjoyed baking, shopping, and spending time with her mom and sisters at the casino. But more than anything, Debi loved being with her grandchildren. Debi had a warm and generous heart. She was full of joy and always ready with a smile and a hug as soon as you walked through the door.

Debi is survived by her husband Eric Zaring, daughters Michelle (Michael) Blazon and Lesley (Brandon) Coffey, stepson Nicholas Zaring, grandchildren Landyn and Lorelei French, mother Juanita Yadao, brother Cres Yadao, who called her “the most beautiful garden,” sisters Terri (Ron) Hale and Lisa (Walter) Hinton, and her nieces and nephews.

Debi is preceded in death by her grandparents; father, Jerry Yadao; and brother, Romeo Yadao.

In lieu of flowers the family is accepting memorial donations for Debi Zaring. Below is the link to her page.

  • We only met Debi once at the closing of the house. Even in that brief meeting, Debi’s warmth and humor was evident. Roger and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
