 GEORGE FELIX ROYBAL

George Felix Roybal 85 entered the Golden Gates on February 4, 2018. He is now free of pain and rejoicing as he watches over his beloved wife Rebecca Roybal of 65 years and the rest of his family. George was born to Felix and Lucy Roybal on September 4, 1932 in Bridger Mt. He married the love of his life in 1952. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War 1952-1954. They moved to Yakima WA in 1960 where they raised their 3 children and provided a loving home to many foster children who they loved as their own. George was a hard worker and always provided for his family. They relocated to Richland WA in 2002. His family was everything to him. He enjoyed spending time with his son and grandsons fishing and bowling. He also enjoyed watching his grandson’s play sports. He would never miss a game. George will always be missed; however, we know he is with us always. He is our Angel. George is survived by his loving wife Rebecca, son, George Jr. (Janet) Roybal, daughters: Debra Garcia, Sharon (Bert) Renshaw, Christina (Scott) Thysell; 9 grandchildren: Chrisopher Roybal, Marcelo and Jeno (Veronica Guzman) Lopez, Isha Roybal, Isaiah and Elijah Zavala, Rudy and Trenton Thysell; 8 great-grandchildren:  Nicholas Roybal, Angelique and Alexis,  Lopez, Juan Guzman,  Zavia Garibalo, Orion Tilton, Benicio, Avion, Mia and Lilly Lopez and 1 great-great grandson Juan Jeno Guzman.

George’s public viewing will be held Friday, February 16, 2018 from 11:00-1:00 at Einan’s at Sunset Funeral Home, 915 Bypass Hwy in Richland, WA followed by his Funeral Service and Military Honors.
