J’Nisa C. Fox entered into rest at the age of 15 on January 17, 2018 at Kadlec Hospital in Richland Washington, with her loving family at her side. She was a resident of Richland, WA for her entire life.  J’Nisa was a student at Richland High School “Go Bombers” and worked as a self-employed Pet Care giver. She was a believer in the Christian faith.

J’Nisa was a wonderful baby, she learned things quickly and loved to play, act and sing. J’Nisa palyed Basketball, Soccer, Softball and ran track. She is so loved by many in our community. She had more struggles in her early adulthood, but was always staying positive and helping others. Many of her friends have said J’Nisa always supported them emotionally. She was a great cook and baker. Her greatest joy was preparing meals and drinks for family and friends.

She was a very hardworking girl; she went on line to find jobs and cared for children and other peoples dogs. Her teachers, counselors and principals enjoyed J’Nisa very much. At Lewis Clark Elementary School she was so proud to receive the Student of the Month Award. She was a talented Basketball player. She played for 7 years and won many awards and will be missed by her teammates, fans and friends. She is much loved.

J’Nisa is survived by her Mother Ruthie Hyslop (Herbie) Step-Father, John C. Fox her Father, Sister Johnika Fox, Grandmothers Reva Hyslop and Mae Fox, Sister by heart Alica Pickard, Aunts Opal Pickard and Doris Cavenaugh, God Father Terry Donscheski and God Mother Skye Schilling and many Cousins and loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her Grandfathers David L. Hyslop and Chester Fox.

A Celebration of a Life Well Lived will take place starting 1:00 PM, Sunday January 28, 2018 at the Red Lion Hotel 1101 N. Columbia Blvd, Kennewick WA. (509) 783-0611. This Celebration of Life will continue until 4:00 PM.  Additional parking in rear of building.
