Nancy Cameron

11/29/1956-03/07/2021

Nancy D. Cameron 64, passed away peacefully at home March 7th, 2021.  She was very much loved by her family and by employees and members at her work. She loved God with all her heart. Nancy was a one of a kind mother. She was a strong and caring woman. Raising three kids by herself and working full time she never stopped giving her best and never let anything stop her. She was the greatest mother anyone could ask for.

Nancy was born November 29th 1956 in Niles Michigan to George and Margaret Felton. Nancy went on to marry her late husband Clay Cameron who sadly passed in 1995. She enjoyed watching big brother, survivor, judge Judy and all her other shows. She also enjoyed cleaning and doing word find puzzle books in her free time.

In 1994, Nancy started working at Columbia Basin Racquet Club in the housekeeping department.  She was a hard worker and felt like she was the mother of her work.

Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Margaret, sister Kathy, brother Dennis, daughter Andrea, daughter Amanda (Will), and her son Jonathan. Her grandchildren Alexis, Dominic, and Kiera. Her niece Heather (Durell) and her nephew Shawn (Dejah). Along with many cousins and other nieces and nephews.

Nancy’s Celebration of life will be held on March 19th at 1pm at Grace and Truth Community Church, 1301 Bombing range road, west Richland with a potluck reception to follow. Pastor Dustin Meyers will be officiating the service.

  • Dear Cameron Family,

I’m very sorry for your loss. May Nancy rest in peace and peace be with all of you during this time of grieving. She was such a wonderful human being whose family meant everything to her.

Nancy was a tireless worker at CBRC who had tireless energy and a constant small on her face and greeted members with joy. She was a admired member of the CBRC team for 25+ years, and will be terribly missed by ownership, fellow employees, and members alike.

    May God rest her soul.
