Andre “Andy” Vermeulen
Andy went to be his lord on August 17 th , 2021. He was born in Baambrugge, Belgium to Pete and
Elizabeth Vermeulen on March 5 th , 1941. When he was 8 years old when the family immigrated to the
United States, where he became a US citizen in 1955.
Andy had an amazing talent for gun and knife making, he also made beautiful pipes. He was a true
craftsman always paying attention to detail. He loved to fish and enjoyed going out in his boat with
family and friends.
Andy is preceded in death by parents, and his older brother, Steve Vermeulen. He is survived by his son,
Pete Vermeulen of Pasco, WA, his daughter Liz Norton of Benton City, WA, and his granddaughter,
Chelsey Chartrand of Eltopia, WA. He is also survived by his special lady friend, Cheri Hilbert of Pasco
WA.
At his request, there will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice would be appreciated.
