Margaret Ellen McCracken, 56
Margaret Ellen Greible was born in Elmira, NY on October 5th, 1964 and grew up in Horsehead, NY with her mother, Marion, father, John (Jack), and her brother, John Greible. While attending nursing school in Elmira, she worked as a catering chef and event planner in Horseheads. She later moved to Butte, Montana to attend college at Montana Tech. After her graduation, she moved from Butte to Richland, Washington with her husband Kurt McCracken where she devoted her 29 years of marriage to raising her two wonderful children Keith James McCracken of Richland, Washington and Kamillia Rose McCracken of Washington DC. Margaret enjoyed spending her time (in between running her kids to school, baseball and soccer practice, and ballet rehearsals) cooking, baking, designing and making wedding cakes for friends, playing along with Jeopardy, scrapbooking, doing photography, and thrift shopping.
Margaret passed away September 12, 2021 following complications associated from COVID-19 in the company of her family. Margaret was preceded in death by her mother, Marion Greible, and her father, John Greible both of Horseheads, NY. She is survived by her husband Kurt McCracken and leaves behind her most beloved children Keith and Kamillia. Her internment ceremony will be Saturday at 11 am at the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Donations in Margaret’s name can be made to the Mid-Columbia Ballet of Richland???
I miss you, mom.
Hello my name is Mary Fromm , I was Margaret’s hairdresser. I just found out about her passing, I cried my eyes out! she was such a loyal person. I just seen her August 14, she came to my dad‘s funeral, and brought me the most beautiful plant and I walked around with her and chatted for about 15 minutes . I will never forget that. think just a month later you were gone . I will miss you popping in the salon and asking me what I can do with your hair and hearing your funny stories.. love you Margaret❤️

You were taken much too young, my friend. I’ll miss our lunches together. Sending love and hugs to the family. I’m so sorry for your loss.
