Gary Porter

Kirkland, Washington – Gary Lee Porter was born July 16,1934 in Creston, Iowa He died November 24th, 2021 in Kirkland, Wa. He went to school I Richland and graduated from Richland High School. He married Regina Williams and moved to Renton, Wa. They had two children Becky and Craig. Becky married Gary Melonson and they had five children, Bryson, Tyler, Kendall, Marinda and Andre. He also had great grandchildren. Gary worked and retired from Boeing. Gary had many interest including old cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and many different antique collections Gary had one of the largest Schwin bicycle collections in the United States. He played many sports including baseball, basketball and pickle He also loved to coach Little League and his Colt 15-16 year old boys baseball team. He spent many hours coaching. Gary had many very good friends, he kept in contact with. They called checking on him even to the time of death. Preceded in death are his parents Percy and Nellie Porter plus sister Raideen Roy. Surviving Gary are Becky and Craig his children and grandchildren. His brother Bill and wife Sonja Porter plus their kids Kristen and Eric Hall and Jason and Molly Porter. His sister Cheryl and husband Al Tatro and their children Scott and Shannon Tatro, Brian and Cindy Tatro and Darren and Jessy Tatro. Plus niece and nephews Lori Mooney and husband Wayne Mooney Bob and David Casale He also has a long time lady friend Angie Stewart and her children Tara and Mark Graveside services will be held at Sunset Gardens located at 915 Bypass Hwy Richland, Wa 99352 on December 3rd, 2021 at 2:00 PM with reception to follow on site
