Deborah Kay Lowry

Deborah Lowry passed away at her home in Kennewick WA. on April 2, 2022 at the age of 64.

Deborah was born in Spokane, WA. on August 21, 1957 to William and Charlene DeBoise. She was the oldest of four sisters and was a loving sister and friend. She spent many fun filled days and evenings roller-skating, dancing and enjoying music.  She loved the outdoors and being on the river.

Deborah married her best friend, Jim Lowry and raised a family of three children together. Some of her fondest moments were being a grandma to Chace Richardson and McKenzie Lowry. She loved her family and loved spending time with them on holidays, (enjoying the traditions) and lounging by the pool. She also was able to take trips to the ocean with them to fish and clam dig.

Deborah was an independent entrepreneur and business owner. She used those attributes in several occupations. She was a tax consultant, a realtor and founder of Heart to Heart gift shop.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Jim Lowry; sisters Rose Zanders, Cheryl DeBoise, and Michelle Cunningham; children, James Lowry, Barbara Lowry Richardson (Dan Richardson), Ken Lowry (Ken Holliday) and granddaughter McKenzie “Kenzie” Lowry and grandson Chace Richardson.

She is preceded in death by her father, William DeBoise.

In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Chaplaincy Hospice, who supported her in her last days,  at 2108 W. Entiat Ave Kennewick, WA. 99336

  • Our hearts are with your family. In the years of being a young business owner, Debbie was always so kind and helpful with her wisdom and advice. Of course I will be ever greateful to her for providing me my first employee, her daughter – my friend Barb. I will remember her smile the most though and how it made me feel and in my own life will remember to pass it on. Big hugs to all of you. ❤
