Norma Jean Campbell

Norma was born in Eagle, Colorado and raised in the Seattle, Washington area.  She met and was married to George Durfee until his passing in 1980.  George and Norma had three boys, Steven, James, and David.  Later, she met and married Raymond Campbell.  Together they enjoyed many great times with their grandchildren. Her grandkids have found memories of their times in grandma and grandpa’s woodshop creating alongside them both. Norma was preceded in death by her husband George, her husband Raymond, son David, son James (Jim), and granddaughter Jodi. She is survived by her son Steven Durfee (Karen), 2 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, also her son Jim’s family of 9 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Norma was the epitome of live, love, and laugh.  Although she faced many hardships in her life, she always found joy in the simplest moments surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She was an avid crocheter, jewelry maker, and scrap booker.  There wasn’t a craft that she couldn’t create.  Each family member and friend has something special that Norma made for them.  We will cherish these mementos of her love.  Norma was a collector of all things, but her most favorite were her M&M and Pillsbury Doughboy collections.  She loved gardening and enjoyed sitting outside on the front porch visiting with friends and neighbors. She could talk for hours. There was nothing that Norma loved more than spending time with her family and friends and sharing laughter. Mom/Grandma you will be greatly missed by all that love you so dearly.
