Frances Ann Cain, a 46-year resident of Richland, passed away on August 25, 2022. Fran was born
January 16, 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA to Anne Catherine Higgins and Charles S. Cain. She graduated with a
Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University. After graduation, she started a lifelong
career with Westinghouse, first in Pittsburgh and then at Westinghouse Hanford. Fran was a prolific
traveler and, after her retirement, traveled to all seven of the continents. Fran is survived by her sisters
Judith Deasy, Colleen (George) Brown and Nancy (Edward) Crawford. She was predeceased by her
brother Charles Cain. Fran is also survived by fourteen loving nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated August 29, 2022 at Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland.

Interment will be in Assumption Cemetery of St. Mary’s in Glenshaw, PA at a future date.
