Norman H. Lippert

Norman H. Lippert, long time Richland resident, passed away on April 18, 2023.

Norm was born in Delmont, South Dakota on December 3, 1934 to Loyd and Martha Lippert.

He is survived by his son Tim Lippert, daughter Terri and husband Dean Oberlander.

Also three grandchildren; Cory Oberlander, Morgan Oberlander, and Samuel Lippert.

Norm was preceded in death by most recently his wife, Mavis.

Norm was a member of Richland Lutheran Church.

Norm served four years in the USN during the Korean War.

He taught school in Rural South Dakota for two years, two years in Benton City and 27 years at Carmichael Junior High School in Richland.

Norm and his wife had resided in the state of Washington since 1959.

Norm enjoyed fishing, camping, making wood crafts, and weekly gaming sessions with his grandson, Cory.

He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Private inurnment services will be conducted, with Sunset Memorial Gardens of Richland
in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to The American Heart Association, Chaplaincy Health Care, RLC Good News Media Ministry, or a charity of your choice.
