TRI-CITIES, WA (November 25, 2025) – Einan’s Funeral Homes invite the community to gather for Einan’s annual Tree of Remembrance event, a heartfelt occasion honoring loved ones during the holiday season. The event will be held Saturday, December 6, at 2:00 p.m. simultaneously at Events at Sunset (Richland), Einan’s at Hillcrest – Kennewick, and Einan’s at Hillcrest – Pasco.
Recognizing that the holidays can be especially difficult after loss, this gathering offers a space of comfort and reflection. Attendees will have the opportunity to create a memorial ornament in honor of their loved one—either to take home or to leave on the Tree of Remembrance. Each ornament includes seeds that will later be planted as a living tribute.
Guests will also experience an “In Loving Memory” slideshow featuring individuals who were cared for by the staff at that specific Einan’s location. While the event is open to all community members, each branch’s slideshow will include only the loved ones served by that branch.
Families are warmly invited to attend whichever service is most meaningful to them, even if their loved one’s name does not appear in that location’s presentation. Every guest is welcome to participate, reflect, and honor their loved ones in this shared moment of remembrance.
“Our Tree of Remembrance is a meaningful way for families to honor and remember those they love,” noted Holley Sowards, Director of Operations for Einan’s Funeral Homes. “We hope this event provides peace and connection for all who attend.” Einan’s at Sunset has hosted the Tree of Remembrance for four years. Since bringing Einan’s at Hillcrest – Kennewick and Einan’s at Hillcrest – Pasco into the Einan’s family of funeral homes in 2024, this will be their first Tree of Remembrance event that will become an annual gathering for their communities as well.
