David Thomas Schreiber

David Thomas Schreiber, a mere two years old, was taken into God’s arms on July 19, 2016. To know David was to know love. His sweet smile was framed by pure blue eyes and porcelain-perfect dimples. He couldn’t help but to dance every time he heard music, with his little feet at a gallop and his hands clapping. He was learning new words every day, and loved to read “just one more” book with his parents and baby brother.

David was instantly his parents’ superhero at birth, and gained a sidekick, William, in March, 2016. David was the best big brother William could have asked for. With a nurturing tone to his voice and an encouraging pat on the back or head, he was quick to soothe his brother’s cries. David’s short time on earth allowed him only so many experiences with his brother, but his outpouring of love for a life even newer than his was unmistakable, and the bond between the two boys was undeniable.

David will forever be a superhero to not only his family, but to other children and their families as well, as an organ donor. His death, as incomprehensible as it was, will change the lives of countless people. With this sacrifice, David will continue to make a lasting difference in a world absent his presence.

David is survived by his parents, Jennifer and Daniel Schreiber; his baby brother, William Schreiber; his grandparents Thomas and Phyllis Morris, and John and Carol Schreiber; his Aunts and Uncles, Robert and Maria Morris, Danielle Morris, Christian Schreiber, Benjamin and Amanda Schreiber, and Jesse Schreiber; his cousins, Hannah and Jackson Schreiber, and Aleksander Morris.
