Our beloved wife and mother Jennifer Haugen went to be with the Lord on February 12^th after a long courageous fight with cancer.

Jennifer was born in Hawthorne Nevada in 1946 to Denson and Leota Griffin. The family later moved to Tye, Texas where Jennifer spent her childhood. Jennifer was considered a bit of a tomboy as a child, as she was a gifted athlete, loved being in the outdoors, and had a strong love for animals. She later married Brian Haugen on September 7, 1966, and moved with Brian to his hometown of Richland, WA. Jennifer and Brian had three children, David, Crystal, and Corinne, and loved spending time with their kids camping, fishing, jeeping, and coaching the girls in softball. Jennifer also loved to work, and after having a number of odd jobs was able to land a career at Hanford as a tool room attendant until she retired in 2000. 

Jennifer and Brian Haugen were married for over 50 years, and they loved spending every minute of their lives together. Jennifer was also blessed with two grandchildren which she loved very much. Jennifer was proceeded in death by her parents and her son David Haugen, and is survived by her husband Brian, daughters Crystal and Corinne, son in-law Jake Washburn, and grandchildren Madysen and Mason.

A service to celebrate Jennifer’s life will be held at 10 AM on Friday February 17^th at Einan’s Event Center in Richland, WA.
