  • Dear Barbara and family, I consider myself so lucky to have had the opportunity to spend time with your family during my childhood at our Warm Lake reunions. I remember Uncle Lee Roy as a kind and gentle person, much like my father. I remember how fun you, Aunt Barbara, were and what a great water skiier! The boys were such a blast to spend time with. The whole Borup family has always been an example to me of goodness. Thanks for the fun times!! May Heavenly Father comfort you all! Love Tammy

  • I started my electrical apprenticeship under Lee in 1954. I was very much in awe of his knowledge of the electrical trade. He still stands in my memory as the ideal electrican.

  • Dear Barbara and family, I am so pleased that Keith,Idella, Bill and Rex all could come up together to the funeral to show their love and respect for your fine husband. I know each of them have great memories of what a fine man he is and a lot of fun times to remember over the years, epsecially remember us, you & Lee with the boys, also Byron & family at Warm Lake with Grandpa & Grandma Borup.

Those memories will live on as Lee’s memory does.

Barbara, I wanted to come to the funeral, but I felt it good for those four siblings to have a little comfort & time locked together in the car for that long journey. I sure they reminessed a lot about olden times in that car ride.

I am glad Keith, Bill & I came to see Lee in June, even if it might have been hard on him to sit up to visit with us. Bless his heart he is free of all those problems now. What a marvelous thing to know that we live on after earth life.

Our love and prayers be with you and the family.

Keith is not back home yet, from the funeral, so I’ll sign off as,

    Love, Gladys Borup

  • I am sure that Grandpa William T. Borup and

Grandma along with Aunt Melba have had a very

happy reunion on the other side. I wish that I

had gotten to know Uncle Lee better as an adult,

but I have enjoyed his company on a few

occasions. I sure he will ve missed because he

    was loved by all.
