Marjorie Ann Harris

MARJORIE ANN HARRIS The angels came and took Marjorie Ann Harris and her unborn baby, Justin. It was a sad day on earth but will be a happy eternity for she has met her Master and Lord. Marjorie was the daughter of George F. and Linda D. Vargo of Richland and the beloved wife of 14 years to husband, Shane, and devoted mother to seven-year old Storm Harris of Richland. She was a graduate of Christ the King and Hanford High Schools. Marjorie was best known for her warm and loving heart and kind smile. She always placed others ahead of herself. She never had an unkind word for anybody and was totally devoted to her family and thoroughly enjoyed the camping trips that she took with Shane and Storm. She had been employed by the Family Rite-Aid Corporation, Kennewick store, for the last ten years where she will be truly missed by her friends and co-workers. Marjorie is survived by her siblings, Mary, Dawn, Daniel, and David, her spouse and son, Shane and Storm, and by her parents, George and Linda.

The past few years have seen a relationship between her family, and especially her mother Linda, grow and blossom into a caring and loving bond. Linda will especially miss her shopping pal and companion where, on so many excursions, they enjoyed laughter and fun.

We all love and miss you Marjorie Maggie and are joyous with the angels for you and Justin have arrived in Paradise!

“We hold our children’s hands awhile, their hearts forever.”

The funeral service will be at Christ the King Church on Monday, August 13, 2001, at 10:00A.M. with graveside services to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A rosary service will be held at Einan’s Funeral Home on Sunday, August 12, 2001, at 5:00 PM.

Contributions may be sent to: Marjie Harris Trust Fund c/o Columbia Trust Bank, Acct.# 23008005, 1l49 N. Edison Ave., Kennewick, WA 99336.

  • To the family we wish to send our deepest sympathy.

Marjorie worked for us at Sharis Restaurant in Richland. We both thought a lot of her.

Since we sold out often times we would stop at Rite Aid just to say “HI” to her. She was always a pleasure to be around.

We have quite a few pictures of her that were taken when we had the restaurant. If you would like a copy of some of them, please contact us.

  • Dear Linda and George, and family

Ruby was visting us when she received the tragic news of Marjorie’s death. Words cannot express how sad we are at such an unexpected and devastating loss. Ruby had shared with us what a terrific person Marjorie was and we know she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her picture reflected her enthusiasm and love of life. We will remember you in our thoughts and prayers. We are glad that you have the love of your family and your deep faith to help you get through this darkest of times.

  • Margie was one of the kindest, most unselfish people I know. She and Shane often came to gatherings

at my brother Steve Strickland’s house. Margie was always fun to be around and a shining example of mother

wife, and friend. She will be very much missed by Dave and me. I know she is in heaven with our Lord

and that He was waiting for her. It is just such a shock that she is gone from here. She always took

such good care of herself, I know it was simply God’s wish that she come home. Again, we will miss

    you, Margie! Karen Diener

  • I was very saddened to hear about Margie. We lived next door on Indian Court a while back, and I haven’t heard news about her for a long time. This isn’t the type of news I was hoping for.

She was always a good person.
