Gertrude Victoria Noggle
Gertrude Victoria Noggle, 84, was born July 19, 1917, in Placentia, California and died Wednesday, September 26, 2001, at Kennewick General Hospital, Kennewick, WA. She lived in the Tri-Cities 8 years.
She was a homemaker, wife and mother and a member of West Side Church, Richland, WA.
Trudy grew up in a large family. She learned early the gift of care giving. Throughout her life, she valued this gift and gave of herself to all. She learned tolerance, patience, compassion, and she understood the limitless power of love. She treasured the time she cared for her husband, children, parents, and her grandchildren. She knew and loved the Lord, and as she grew frail herself, she saw the great impact she had on her own family from generation to generation!
Gertrude was preceded in dead by her husband, Norman Nathan Noggle, Sr., her parents, Gertrude and Albert Nelson; and five siblings, Lawrence Nelson, James Nelson, Esther Nelson, Margie Rice, and Malcolm Nelson.
She is survived by sons, Norman Nathan Noggle, Jr. of Newport, WA and Ronald Otis Noggle of Blue Diamond, NV; daughter, Rev. Patricia Noggle Harvey of West Richland, WA; grandchildren, Darla Crickette Scoma of Tallulah, GA, Brent William Harvey of Santa Fe, NM, Shaun Noggle of Seattle, WA, Nathan Noggle of Newport, WA; and great grandson, Ethan Providence Scoma of Tallulah, GA; brother, Robert Nelson of Murietta, CA; sisters, Bonnie Faulk of Norco, CA and Betty Gardini of South San Francisco, CA.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2001, at West Side Church, 603 Wright Ave., Richland, WA. Inurnment will be in Pacific View Memorial Park, Corona Del Mar, California.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Side Church Children and Family Ministries, 615 Wright Ave., Richland, WA 99352
