LYNDA PARCHEN EINAN’S FUNERAL HOME Angels have souls that are pure, Angels have hearts full of love. They hear the prayers of their family, Watching each one from above.

They’re always hovering near,
Banishing sorrow and fear.
God calls them angels in heaven
But we call them “mothers and wives”
    down here.

Lynda Parchen, born June 15, 1941, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of September 29, 2001.

Lynda enjoyed the simple things in life: reading, softball, spending time at the lake, watching the Mariners, and her family.

She is survived by her husband, LeeRoy Parchen, daughters, Tracy Pope, Teri Printz, and Linda Henjum.  Her grandchildren, Caitlin Gordon, Kayla Rush, Brooklyn and Brigette Henjum, Tyler and Dylan Printz, mother, Margaret Patnode, sister, Shirley Bilger and brother, Dale Patnode, also survive her.  She was preceded in death by her father, Noah Patnode.

Services will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2001, at 10 a.m. at Einan’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, Richland.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tri-Cities Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat Ave. Kennewick, WA 99336 or the Tri-Cities Cancer Center, 7350 W. Deschutes Ave. Kennewick, WA 99336

  • I just recently found this website. Lynda was my neighbor for more than 20 years and “trick-or-treating” at her and LeeRoy’s was always a highlight. I remember hearing her unbridled laugh from outside her house and how happy she was when she found Daisy. I will never forget her huge smile.
