Reese Franklin Smith
Reese Franklin Smith, 90, of Apache Junction, Arizona, died Tuesday, November 6, 2001 in Apache Junction. He was born April 12, 1911 in Raton, New Mexico to William C. and Mattie Melvin Smith.
Mr. Smith was an electrician at Hanford and an A&W drive-in owner in Orofino, Idaho. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and dancing.
Reese is survived by his wife: Evelyn Smith of Apache Junction, AZ; son and wife: Darrel and Kathy Smith of Pacific, WA; daughters and husbands: Sandra and Arthur Glover of Kooskia, ID. and Barbara and Fred Lynch of Benton City, WA; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and sisters, Amanda Brown and Jimalee Smith.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 56 years, Vera Lucile Smith; second wife, Leatha Smith; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2001 at Einans Funeral Home.
