Victoria Tori Jane Hutton EINANS FUNERAL HOME
Victoria Hutton, 14, died January 19, 2002, at Kadlec Medical Center. Tori was born March 26, 1987, in Richland. She was preceded in death by her father, Mark Hutton, grandfathers Leonard Black and Joe Montgomery Sr., and her very special grandmother Phyllis Laurence. She is survived by her parents; Cathy and Joe Montgomery; sisters Ketra and Whitney; grandparents Louise Black, Philip and Eunice Hutton, and Ethel Montgomery; aunts Laurie Hutton, Lynn Winkler, and Janice Lynch; and uncles Jerry Winkler and Phil Lynch.
Victoria lived with a number of severe physical and mental disabilities. She led a quiet live under the wonderful care of Teri and Roland Thompson at their home for fragile children in Pasco, WA. She was surrounded by many good-hearted and loving friends and family members throughout her life. Tori had a profound effect on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family wishes to thank the Thompsons and their staff, who provided a loving home for her. We are also grateful to Dr. Gerald Frey for his dedication to Victorias health care throughout her life. The nurses in the Pediatric Unit at Kadlec Hospital were a true blessing for their expertise and their kind and loving care for Tori during her visits there in time of illness.
Tori was deeply loved and will be missed very much by the many people who were involved in her life. We know she is safe and happy in her new home with God. We look forward to being with her again.
Memorial services will be held at Westside United Protestant Church, Richland, at 4:00 pm Wednesday, January 23, 2002. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Arc of Tri-Cities, 761 Williams Blvd., Richland, WA 99352.
Although we never had the privilege of knowing Tori, we are saddened by her passing. We are comforted by knowing She is now gently in the arms of Jesus and is now a Very Special Angel of God. May God Bless Her and Her Family Always. Our Love and Prayers.

A wise man once said; “Death, though bitter to observe, is not the end, but is rather only another graduation from which we go on to a better life.” Children such as your daughter are guaranteed a spot in the highest kingdom of heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I was lucky enough to be one of the nurses who cared for Tori during her many admissions to Kadelec. I will miss her smiling face. She was a very special angel. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Heaven now has a very special angel.
Kathy, our hearts go out to you and your family at this time. I have had the pleasure of helping provide for Tori and will miss her and you in my families lives. As I have told many, when a child comes on my case load, they become part of my family. We will always cherish our memories of Tori.

Brenda MillerHerrington and Rick Herrington, RHS Class of 1970 classmates, would like to express our condolences for the loss of your daughter Victoria. We lived on Craghill Avenue in Richland with our two daughters during the 80’s and early 90’s and often saw Cathy and Mark pushing their kids by the neighborhood park. Our hearts go out to you on your loss, and we are sincere in the belief that she and Mark are together in the arms of the Lord. God bless you all, Cathy, Joe, Ketra, and Whitney and families.
