Dear Grandpa, I will never forget you and I will always cherish our happy moments together. Your grandson, Andrew Vo.
As a bus driver for Ben Franklin Transit, it was my pleasure to have met Mr. Thanh Vo several years ago. I was immediately struck by his outgoing and very friendly personality that he applied to everyone he met. Thus began our friendship.
Thanh and I both looked forward to seeing each other and exchanging lively conversations on the bus. I was amazed by his stories of his life in Vietnam, his working in a medical laboratory, his escape from Vietnam with his family, and of their relocation in Richland. He was a very educated man and could speak many languages. I was shown some of his oil paintings.
Thanh had an extraordinary zest for life, and everythng and everyone excited him. He loved meeting new people on the bus and showing them his family pictures. He was so VERY proud of his family, and would proudly proclaim, ” They are all professionals now!”.
My sincerest sympathies are extended to the family of Thanh Vo, and to his many friends. I will miss his voice, his enduring smile, his hat, and seeing him on my bus. I will always remain inspired by this gentle man.
May God bless and keep his soul and grant him the eternal rest in heaven that he so richly deserves.
We will miss Mr. Vo’s friendly smile and greeting as he used to pass by our house. I spoke with him many times as he was passing by–a very kind gentleman. The world would certainly be a better place if we had more people like Mr. Vo in it. Please accept our sympathy.
Sincerly,

It was such a pleasure to have Mr. Vo in my art classes at CBC. I loved his sense of humor and enthusiasm. He was a dear man.My sincere condolences to his family
As a friend and coworker of his daughter, Nguyen Ha, I have heard many an endearing story of her family. And even though I had never met Mr. Vo, I sense that he was an extraordinary man. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Thanh Vo.
Dear Family of Mr. Vo,
As one of the pharmacists at Malley’s, I would like to express our sincere condolences to you at this time of loss. Mr Vo was one of our favorite patients. He always came in with a bright smile and left us with smiles on our faces. I will never forget the day, early one year, when he and a friend came in to the store and wished us, and everyone else there, an Auspicious New Year. He had no business to do with us that day, but just brought those warm greetings. May such warm memories comfort you all these days. We were all blessed to have him in our lives.

Thanh was a very gentle man. And he never had an unkind word for another person. He always had a ready smile that made you smile also. He was great to work with at Kadlec.
And I think of him when I see the picture that he painted that is in the doctor library.
He did a lot for his fellow countrymen. With helping the doctors that go over and do surgeries. He will be missed.
As a member of the family that owns Malley’s, I just wanted to extend my sympathies to Thanh Vo’s family. Mr. Vo was a genuinely cheerful and high-spirited man who always had a smile and a kind word for those of us who worked at Malley’s. He was great at brightening our days and lifting our spirits and I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
