Margie Roth, 84, of Kennewick, WA, died Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at home. She was born March 22, 1918, in Ford, WA and lived in Kennewick since 1963.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Howard L. Roth, Sr. son, Howard L. Roth, Jr., son, Jacob L. Roth and daughter-in-law, Laura G. Roth, grandchildren, Leslie and Nikki Roth. Margie was caring, compassionate, never negative and always looked on the sunny side of life. Margie truly was a virtuous woman. She will be missed by all who knew her. The Roth family welcomes all to share this special time with them. Margies memorial will be held on Saturday, November 9, at 1:00 p.m. at Einans Funeral Home, 915 By-pass Highway, Richland.
Margie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Leslie and Clare Timmons.
I have been intimate friends with the Roths for over 34 years. In my life I have never met a more kind and gentle soul than Marge. My memories run deep through all of those years. From the time Jake first befriended me in 1968 to my last visit with Marge and Howard at Creekside. I recall being a lonely 18 year old, in 1968, missing home and Mom’s cooking, when Marge asked Jake to bring me by for dinner. I still recall the meal; Sunday dinner with Pot roast, mashed potatoes and all the trimmings, she was a great cook. I ate with the family and felt as though I was home. Marge and Howard had a way of making you feel that way. Through the years we have shared many family experiences with the Roths and to this day we remain best of friends with Jake and Laura, Leslie and Nicki. I remember the day before my wedding when Marge gave me a haircut at her house, that’s how she was, always helping. Or the many times I’d see her at the market, sneak up on her and and “accidentally” run my cart into hers. Then we’d talk for many minutes. She was easy to talk to. Unfortunately, we won’t be there for the celebratation of Marges’ life but she will forever live on in our memories and prayers. People like Marge are destined for a special place in God’s heaven.
God Bless Marge, Howard and the entire Roth famly.
From true and ever lasting friends.
Dan, Ginny, Shannon, Danelle, Carly and the entire Ross family.
We love you all

I am so sorry for the passing of Mrs. Roth she was always their to help anyone who had a need. She was my instructor and friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
She was a wonderful woman and I will always remember my time with her when I went to Clare’s. When she would always mix colors up, no matter what color you needed she always added a drop of RED. Lucky Copper I believe. She was so much fun.
I am a prankster and loved getting her riled. There are so many stories I could share.
Thanks Mrs. Roth for the memories.
Margie is my favorite cousin, my friend, my confidant. WE talked about our husbands and kids-granddaughters, we loved so much. We love you ,Margie!
