Phillip Chaffee Hansen

Phillip C. Hansen, age 84, of Richland, WA passed away October 14, 2002, at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, WA.  He was born December 25, 1917, in Missoula, MT.

He was a machinist for Smith Burger and worked for Boeing in Seattle, WA before he retired. He was in the U. S. Army Air Force World War II and lived in this area for 34 years. He was an active member of the Prairie Shufflers, and belonged to the Eagles 2061, in Sedro Woolley, WA. He attended college in Moscow, ID for 2 years.

Phillip is survived by his wife of 32 years, Claire E. Hansen, and children, David Miriam Hansen of Montpelier, Vermont, Steve Sandy Hansen of Fortuna, CA, Wendy Dr. Warren Ervin of Bellingham, WA, and stepchildren, Adrian Mary Anderson of Richland, WA, Margie Clint Worcester of Kennewick, WA, Linda Ron Hiskey of Kennewick, WA, and one sister-in-law, Laura Hansen of Santa Rosa, CA.  He has 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Evva, and also a brother, Robert.

Viewing will be Thursday 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  A memorial service will be at Einan’s Funeral Home, Richland, WA at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2002.

Memorial contributions may be made in Phill’s name to the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy Hospice House, 2108 W. Entiat Ave. Kennewick, WA 99336 or the American Heart Foundation, 805 S. Auburn, Kennewick, WA 99336.

  • I am deeply saddened for your loss.. I need to see if you rember me. I use to work at the 88 cent store and then the Albertson and I beleived I rented a prefab that you owned on Rossel court..not sure but I really am sorry but I know he seems very familuar to me and with my dad already passed you might of known my dad too Mr. FRALEY.God Bless to you all.
