  • Oh Dougy Doug, You were and still are so special to me.

I know you would want me to tell Chad how proud you are of him and how you beam with pride as you talk about him, all day long, over and over again……

Then there is Brother. I always like the way you start your stories about you brother, Gary. You would say “Brother and I would go hunting…” or I talked to Brother today….” You sure loved Brother.

You liked to talk about your Sissies too and how happy you were to go to your birthday dinner with them this last b-day you had.

You were sure happy to see Chrissy, your foster daughter this past summer too, and her son as well. I know you enjoyed them very much.

I sure am going to miss hearing all the hunting and horseback riding stories and adventures that you and Norenne have had. I think I can almost tell them for you, I have heard them so many times…I just wish I could hear you tell them again.

You are going to be missed by all that has crossed your path. I know that you climbed back up that mountain and you are in a far better place now. I will be thinking of you always and your family will be in my prayers.

  • Just wanted to send condolences in your loss of Doug. I worked with him over 20 years ago at JA Jones at WNP-1. I worked in the warehouse with Gene Orndorff as our boss and teamsters, Doug, Gene Hainline, Lee Hutchinson, and a man named Ed can’t remember Ed’s last name from Yakima. Doug was just a very kind, gentle man who was always willing to help anybody that needed anything in the warehouse. I still work with Mike Woodruff and Al Vargas who were there too. Sometimes you forget about people who pass in and out of your life but he is one unforgettable character. I was saddened to hear of his passing. May God keep you in his care.
