BJ, I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May you be comforted with the powerful wisdom of The Prophet:
“For what is it to die but to stand naked in the wind and to melt into the sun?
And what is it to cease breathing, but to free the breath from its restless tides, that it may rise and expand and seek God unencumbered?
Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.”
George is dancing now, BJ.
BJ, Ginger and I would like to offer our sympathy in the loss of your husband. You will be in our prayers. May God be with you during this difficult time.

To the family of George,
I will miss George. I worked with him at the INEEL RWMC for several years. I enjoyed his enthusiasm, dedicated work and great sense of humor.
I’m sorry for your loss BJ. George was a great guy and I enjoyed working and hunting with him.
George will be missed, he was a good friend and helped me alot when he was working at the Idaho National Engineering Lab. His unique signature is still remembered by many. Sandra and I missed both of you when you moved away, and offer our condolences to you BJ. We enjoyed the time we spent with you while you were here.
“May the gods grant you all things which your heart desires, and may they give you a husband and a home and gracious concord, for there is nothing greater and better than this -when a husband and wife keep a household in oneness of mind, a great woe to their enemies and joy to their friends, and win high renown.”
Homer 800 BC – 700 BC, The Odyssey
BJ, you and George won “high renown.” As a friend, my joy too is deminished in your loss. May the memories that you two built together over the past 20+ years provide you comfort during this time.
Joe

BJ, am sorry to hear of your loss. My family will keep you in our prayers.
I was able to see most of eastern Idaho with George. I really enjoyed the time we spent together hunting, fishing and camping. He was even with me when I got my first buck. I think he was really surprised. There are not many areas where we still go with our family in the outdoors that I cannot come up with a memory of George and I being there. I also liked working with George because he always had a way of keeping me out of trouble with my projects and I know that is true of most of the people he worked with. He has many friends here in Idaho and they have always asked how he was doing. They are very sad to hear of his passing. He has made a great impression on many. He will be greatly missed.
