  • This photo is older so this isn’t “the Helen” I knew.

I began working for her after her heart surgery so she’d lost some weight though not enough for her tastes!

She was a very COOL older lady-very classy,

very intelligent and even more, very wise.

I learned much from her, lessons you don’t talk about, you simply apply to life.

Quite simply, I loved her-she was my friend-and I am honored to have known her.

I will miss her SO much-we did not have enough time together, is my only complaint-

We’d made plans to travel to the coast of WA this summer-and I was really looking foward to that trip…

Helen, I love you and I miss you…I’m glad you’re in a better place but dang-it, we still had plans…

    your friend,

    yvette

  • I will miss Helen so very much. We lived as neighbors for 22 years and when she moved to Washington, we kept a Birthday Card going for 23 years. Sending the same birthday card until one of us passed on. I just got her last card in February and was ready to send a response when her sister called to tell me Helen was no longer with us. I will meet her again someday and what a glorious day that will be. My sympathy goes out to her family. Love, Frances
