Dear Susan and Rick,
I’m very sorry; you have lost your mom and I have lost a very dear friend. What a sweet and precious little person Irene was. She was a joy to me. She always encouraged the people around her. She was thankful to the Lord for His goodnes to her. She was blessed for many years with abundant energy and grace. She was loving, giving, and serving. She always cheered me up and what a joy she was to work with in Altar Guild. I believe she is with our Savior – no more tears, no more suffering, no more loss. I am comforted by that, but I miss her. What a beautiful lady she was! I’m praying for His comfort and presence for you and for her beloved grandchildren whom she loved so much.

Your mother was a very fine lady. I always remember her telling me that I had good looking legs. Sorry I couldn’t be at the funeral.
