My memories of Caitlin are from about six years ago when her parents were in a small group with us. I know it was six years ago because we had a baby that we named Kaitlynn and she is now six. We had often joked with Caitlin that our Kaitlynn was her namesake. Cindy was good enough to give me some pictures for Kaitlynn’s baby book and I included them in a page called “About your name…”
Last Friday, I got the book out when I heard that Caitlin had taken a turn for the worse and there were the pictures of this beautiful, smiling, little girl. The paragraph in the book reads:
“When you consider names, you always think of people with similar names. The only Kailynn we knew was Caitlin Brianne Ford. She was six years old and the daughter of a couple in our small group. I had heard a lot about this little girl. Her parents credited her with leading them to Christ. She was one of those unusual children who seem wise much beyond their short number of years. We asked her if she liked her name. She did. She was also very pleased to have our baby named after her. She is a lively energetic girl with strong principles. An excellent role model for years to come.”
It seems this is even more true now than it was six years ago. We’ll pass stories of her on to our daughter as she grows. Caitlin lived her thirteen years very well and with a soul that touched all she met. We’ll keep you in our prayers during this very sad time. She was exceptional and will be greatly missed.
Please let me know if we can help. We are so very sorry for your loss.
Randy and Alysia, Alex, Ashleigh, Kaitlynn, and Alan Schwarz
Cindy and Tim, Helen and Olivia send their love and prayers for you. Please let us know if we can do anything at all for you! Helen
Dear Tim & Cindy,
We want you to know that our hearts go out to you at this very hard and sad time. We rejoice knowing that Caitlin is in Heaven with Jesus, but it still hurts so much. Even Jesus felt grief and sadness when Lazasus died. We hurt for you and we are praying for God to comfort and bless you with His strength and peace. We were all so blessed by Caitlin’s strength and her fighting spirit. I know you have many happy and wonderful memories with her and her pictures at church were so beautiful and a testimony to the vibrant girl that she was.
Her faith in Jesus shone through in her life most of all.
Here is a song that speaks of Jesus as the grave robber and our hope for eternal life through Him. Hope it blesses you.
Love you in Him, Peggy, Michael and Anthony Henry
Graverobber
Words and music by Bob Hartman
Based on Hebrews 9:27, John 4:14, 1 Peter 1:24, Romans 8:11, 1 Corinthians 15:26, 51-55, Revelation 7:17
There’s a step that we all take alone
An appointment we have with the great unknown
Like a vapor this life is just waiting to pass
Like the flowers that fade, like the withering grass
But life seems so long and death so complete
And the grave an impossible portion to cheat
But there’s One who has been there and still lives to tell
There is One who has been through both heaven and hell
And the grave will come up empty-handed that day
Jesus will come and steal us away
Chorus
Where is the sting, tell me where is the bite
When the grave robber comes like a thief in the night
Where is the victory, where is the prize
When the grave robber comes
And death finally dies
Many still mourn and many still weep
For those that they love who have fallen asleep
But we have this hope though our hearts may still ache
Just one shout from above and they all will awake
And in the reunion of joy we will see
Death will be swallowed in sweet victory
When the last enemy is done from the dust will come a song
Those asleep will be awakened – not a one will be forsakened
He shall wipe away our tears – He will steal away our fears
There will be no sad tomorrow – there will be no pain and sorrow
Where is the sting, tell me where is the bite
When the grave robber comes like a thief in the night
Where is the victory, where is the prize
When the grave robber comes
And death finally dies

Dear Tim and Cindy,
Although our lives crossed paths for only a short time, I treasure that time in my memory. Caitlin was a brave and beautiful young lady. The boys loved to play with her. I think of you often and pray for you the moment you come to mind. Caitlin will be missed, but what a blessing to know she is with our loving Heavenly Father.
love, Crystel
Dear Tim & Cindy;
I remember Caitlin from the classes and halls of Tapteal. She always had a smile for me as she would toss her gorgeous hair over her shoulder.
I know there are no words I can give to ease the ache you have to hold your child.
But since Kirk and I share your pain somewhat since losing our David, we feel as if we can help by just acknowledging your loss.
Remember all the love you have for each other goes on forever and I am sure Caitlin feels that love and is lifted higher by it.
We were happy to see Caitlin and David honored on the same page in the yearbook. Two such special people will never be forgotten.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” Matthew 5:4
We pray for your comfort and our own.

Tim and Cindy, My hugs to you both. Bambi
Dear Tim and Cindy,
I have been so fortunate to have been able to be a part of Caitlin’s life. She will always be a part of me, and I feel her presence in my life now more than ever. I have always believed that Cait had a spirituality that far surpassed anyone I had ever come in contact with. Whenever in the room with her, I could feel a radiant energy that is hard to describe, but anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her knows what I am talking about. And she had the wit and wisdom of such an old soul! Along with that, a vitality and spunk behind the sweetest most gentle, soft voice. She truly loved life and everyone and thing in it. She represents to me, all that is good, and pure, and wonderful, even in the most turbulent of times. She will be an inpiration, for me especially in tough times, to persevere.
Love
Felicia
I had the pleasure of meeting Caitlin a few occasions at Ams functions. What a remarkable girl she was! The light of Christ showed through not only her actions and disposition, but purely through the light in her eyes and the smile that always graced her face. I feel blessed to have been in her presence the few times I was and can only imagine how blessed her close friends and family were to have her around at all times. The deep loss you must be feeling must be unspeakable, for that I am truly sorry. However, I am overwhelmed with happieness for her as she is in the arms of Jesus Christ right now. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you! And God bless the new angel He has in Caitlin.
Tim and Cindy,
I am truly sorry for your loss of such a beautiful little girl. I still remember watching her as a newborn baby with Felicia and Nora and how cute she was then. She is definately a brave soul. My prayers are with all of you and I know she is smiling down from heaven. Love you guys,
