Kimi Lee Kendall Canham
Kimi Lee Kendall Canham was born Oct. 7, 1962 in Seattle, WA to Terry V. A. Kendall and Marian Lee Allen Kendall Baxter. Kimi went home to the Lord September 29 in Spokane, WA. Kimi lived in Benton City from early childhood until her marriage to Mark Canham in 1984. Kimi attended Benton City Schools from K through 12, Graduating in 1981. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benton City, accepting the Lord at an early age and reconfirming her commitment with baptism in 1983. At the tender age of almost 6, Kimi competed in the Benton City Mardi Gras talent contest and won first place singing Red Wing accompanied by her paternal grandmother Dorothy Kendall on the piano. As a young girl she was a member of the Rainbow Girls. Kimi enjoyed horseback riding and socializing with her many friends. Kimi had an easy time meeting new people and enjoyed talking with everyone. She never met a stranger that she couldnt talk to which is attested to by her many friends. She was a 23 year member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #115. Kimi was preceded in death by her grandparents Lacy L. Doc Allen, Claude Al Kendall and Dorothy Louise Kendall Clark and uncle Jason David Kendall. Survivors include her father Terry Barbara Kendall of Spokane, mother Marian Lee Tom Baxter, Benton City, sons John Lacy Kendall, Benton City, Mitchell Dean Canham and Dustin Lee Canham of Lake Stevens, WA, step brother Bob Gina Lane, Aberdeen, WA, step sister Tina Lane, Clarksville, TN, grandmother Wilma G. Allen, Benton City, uncle Vey Marjorie Allen Benton City and aunt Kay Floyd Davis of Pasco. Also numerous cousins, nephews nieces and extended family members and friends. Viewing will be Friday, Oct. 3 from 4-8 pm at Einans Funeral Home, Richland. Funeral Services will be at Benton City First Baptist Church, Sat. Oct 4 at 1pm. Pastor Mike Bourasaw officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Benton City. A memorial dinner will follow at the American Legion Benton City.
Uncle Terry, John, Mitch, Dustin, and all my family. I’m praying that peace fill all of your hearts, and that the lord watch over you all through this time of greef. Please know that if I could be there for you all I would be, but know I’m with you all in spirit. I miss you all! I love you all David

Although I was unable to be there in person ,you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this time and always. And this may be a hard journey but he road will get smoother as time goes on.

One of the things I will always remember about Kim is her spontaneous laugh and beautiful smile. She was always happy and seemed to make the best of everything. I know she loved her friends and family very much, and was especially proud of John, Mitchell, and Dustin.
