My brothers and I were friends with Bruce while growing up in Rock Port. I was two years younger, but age didn’t matter in the “good old days!” My family lived on the west bluff in town…up the hill from the Gallup family…and I have so many fond memories of good times with Bruce…until I moved from Rock Port to Tarkio. Bruce was a true friend. God bless you and yours.
I knew Bruce briefly and he helped me with some computer things. He seemed to be always ready to help when needed. I believe he is at peace now. Our thoughts go out to his family and especially Brianne Munger who is a good friend of my daughter. We will pray for you to have peace and comfort during this season.

Dear Family,
I knew Bruce when he was in high school in Rock Port. At that time, he was blond and athletic. He was a star football and basketball player. Those were the only sports our school had. I didn’t know him well, but he was a very popular guy with some of my older girlfriends. He seemed so tall compared to most of the kids. Our school was so small that everyone knew everyone and we all attended dances at the high school or at the Memorial Building in town. I am sorry to hear of his death, and of your sorrow. I’m also amazed to hear of someone from my home town living so close to me.

Christi and Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I first knew Bruce in the early 60’s and his family in Rock Port, Mo. Like some of the others have mentioned, I knew him as a star athlete and older friend. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to Bruce’s family. He was a good man.
I was in grade and high school with Bruce, a year or two behind him, in Rock Port and used to pal around with him. We played football together and grew a lot together. Sincere condolences.
I am a friend of Bruce’s sister, Peggy Gallup and I spent many hours in Bruce and Peggy’s home in Rock Port, MO. Bruce was always the tag along brother and I watched him grow into a fine young man and then leave Rock Port to serve our country. I will always have fond memories of his laughter and all the boyish trouble he caused Peggy and her friends. His family is in my thoughts and prayers and may God grant you peace knowing he is in a better place and not suffering anymore.

I knew Bruce all through school and he was indeed a good athlete. We were Football Homecoming King and Queen way back in the day and I had just recently heard from him again. I’m sorry we didn’t get to talk more and my sympathies go to his family.
Bruce impressed me as a very gentle person. I used to look forward to encountering him at Lamb-Weston. Thoughts and prayers.
