Two years ago I was out golfing with Bill and my Dad and Bill told me a story. My brother Dan and I gave him a pair of the ugliest Red socks he had ever seen in his life for a Christmas gift.We were about 5 or 6 years old at the time. He was going to throw them away but Elaine wouldn’t let him. So every time he saw those socks it would remind him of that day and how proud my brother and I were to give him those socks for Chrismas. So now every time I see a pair of red socks I think of Bill and the story he told me.Me and our family will miss him dearly.God bless Bill and the rest of his family.

I worked with Bill in the 1980’s when he was a Fuel Processing supervisor at N Reactor and I was a Reactor Operator. I remember him giving me some advice when I certified for control room operations to seek out the older, experienced operators and learn from them. He was a good supervisor and was respected and liked by everyone.
