I was sorry to hear of Chuck’s passing. Chuck and I are about the same age and we worked together briefly when we were teenagers at a gas station in Richland. I remember Chuck had a beautiful black Camero and later a yellow Corvette with a “CHUCKC” license plate. He loved his car and would often work on it after hours. We had a lot of fun at the gas station and Chuck was a full of energy and always in a great mood. We worked together for only a few months and the thing I remember most was his unique voice. It didn’t surprise me to hear that he got into broadcasting. Time has passed and we didn’t stay in touch, but I’ll never forget Chuck and how much fun we had when we were younger. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Mike

I was sorry to hear that Chuck had passed away. Chuck was my very first boyfriend back in high school. He loved to play tennis and ride dirt bikes. I remember when he got his first job at the radio station. He had such a great radio voice and personality. I moved to California in 1982 and still kept in touch with him when I would visit my family in Richland. I did get to meet his two sons when they were little. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May he rest in peace.
I had the pleasure of working with Chuck at KALE and OK95. He always had a nice word for me and he was very pleasant to me when we worked together. I later ran into both of his parents at my doctor’s office at at church. I can see why he was such a neat guy. I wish his young family well.
Duane and Charlotte,
We want to express our sympathy for you on this occasion which is very sorrowful for you.
We will be out of town and will miss expressing our thoughts to you in person.
May peace be yours and Charles.

Chuck worked for me and with me at KZZK and KORD. When I think back, I think of how much he loved working on the air. He told me “I think I like being a DJ more than anyone here” I said I think you like it more than anyone in the USA. Chuck had so much energy, a great smile and a big heart. God Bless his family, I just wanted you to know The radio community thought Highly of Chuck. Ed
My most fond memories of Charles are when we use to play tennis together when he was in High School. I was very sadden to learn of his untimely passing, and wish him God speed on his journey.
I am very saddened to hear of Chuck’s passing. What a wonderful caring man to watch over each of his friends. I remember his black Camaro, his motocross days and then the yellow vette. There was those times of getting in trouble on the HAM radio. His CB handle was fitting of him—Zonkers. Sympathy to all the family. He will be greatly missed.
