Hearing of Crystal’s passing deeply saddens me. She was at an age where life presents itself with independence and adult responsibilities and she was just starting to enjoy them as a wife and mother. I had the pleasure of being Crystal’s fastpitch softball coach when she was just 10 years old. Her skills were very impressive and I followed her softball career as I continued coaching and she continued playing and excelling at the sport she and I both enjoyed. I kept up with news about her from her Mom, Vivian, when I would take my check to GESA and Vivian would happen to be my teller. We would exchange information about our daughters since they were both part of my team. As I conclude this, I would hope that Crystal, where ever she might be, is still playing the sport she so passionately loved.
Our condolences and prayers are with you for your loss. God Bless you and your family.
My heart goes out to her close friends and family. Many of us feel her loss so deeply, which reflects what a truly beautiful person she was.
