EINANS FUNERAL HOME
Daniel Diesel Frank Heidelberg, 45, of Richland, passed away Sunday,
August 22, 2004, at home surrounded by family and friends. Dan was born
in Richland on October 21, 1958, to Wert and Donna Heidelberg, the
youngest of four children. Dan graduated from Columbia High School
Richland High in 1978. Dan married Tami Rodgers on October 18, 1986,
and they made their home in Richland, where Dan worked as a Nuclear
Process Operator for CH2M Hill Hanford. Dan is survived by his wife Tami
and their canine kids, Molly and Sammy, his father Wert, his sisters Diane
George Rodney, and Denise Rowe, and his brother Don Tracy. Dan was
preceded in death by his mother Donna in 2003. Dan was a special uncle to
his nieces and nephews and godfather to many friends' children. Dan will
be remembered by so many for his joy of life in all things, from hunting and
fishing, to playing the air guitar to the strains of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and
cooking up sides of beef to share with his friends. We will miss you, Diesel,
and will think of you often. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August
27, 2004, at Columbia Community Church, 150 Gage Boulevard, Richland.
The family suggests donations to the Tri-Cities Cancer Center or the Tri-
Cities Chaplaincy.
My deepest sympathies to the entire family at this time of loss.
My deepest sympathy to Tami and family. I grew up across the street from the Heidelbergs. Boy what a great time. I remember my Dad use to pay Danny $.05 to pull for the St. Louis Cardinals instead of the Yankees. Say Hi to him for me Danny. You can now watch the games together.
God Bless all of you.
