Tammy Kay Bridgeman, 45, of Richland, went home to be with the Lord January 15, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Tammy was born October 6, 1959 in Burns, Oregon to Yvonne and Hillis Bridgeman. She was one of five siblings. After a lot moving around, she finally settled in the Tri-Cities in 1978 when she married Jim Bumpaous of Pasco. They had four children together.
Tammy worked as a Secretary for Kadlec Medical Center. She loved being able to help other people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Tammy is survived by her four children: James and wife Amy Bumpaous of North Carolina, Elizabeth Bumpaous of Virginia, Daniel and wife April Bumpaous of Pasco. Grandchildren Mattew, Misty, Joe and Coleman Bumpaous of North Carolina. Brother Randy and wife Dee Bridgeman of Maryland, sisters: Debbie and husband Dave Tyra of Richland, Judy and husband Carl Littlejohn of California. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents Hillis and Yvonne and brother Hillis Bridgeman Jr. and niece Yvonne Maden.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rado and the oncology department, Kadlec Medical Center and staff, Life Care Center of Richland for all their love, compassion and care during Tammys illness. We would also like to thank Evelyn Haight and Cynthia Fuentas, Tammys caregivers, for their patience, love and hard work, and also Uncle Carl and Aunt Rachell Petty of Eltopia, who are always there for us.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
My thoughts are with you. Liz and I go way back to 1st grade and was my best friend throghout my childhood. i love and miss you. keep in touch and my prayers are with you and your family.
