  • The last phone conversation I had was Sib was spent mainly talking about her grandchildren. I could hear the smile in her voice. She was so happy. Although her life was cut short it was filled with love from her family and friends, and through them she will always be remembered.

  • To Laura & Rob, Barb & Thomas, Bruce, Sonny and all of your families:

There are no words that can express how I feel. I guess the best thing to do is to remember all the great times and as I am writing this I can hear Sib laughing. One of my fondest memories are the visits we had to Horse Heaven Hills as we were growing up. Sib, Bruce, Barb, Myself, Ginger & Casey—there was always something to do. I am sorry but we are unable to come to make the services but please be assured that our thoughts and prayers are each of you today and always. I do hope someone will keep in touch as I have lost tract of all of you. Love Penny

  • Laura and Rod,

Your mom has been my neighbor for 12 years. She is absolutely wonderful and I will miss her a great deal. No other person would appreciate my barking dog as much as your mom did – she was worried about ‘Rosie’ when she didn’t hear her bark for a couple of days I had kept her inside due to the hot weather. I feel blessed to have known her and am glad to have met you and Rod as well.

  • Linda, Rob, Bruce and Barbara –

Our cousin Linda Doty sent me an email telling me of Sylvia’s passing. We got to meet at the Craven family reunion in Iowa in August 1999. I also got to meet Bruce at that time.

I hope we can keep in touch. Your mom was a courageous lady and I really liked meeting her and learning about her family and my new “cousins”.

I enjoyed keeping in touch with her through emails and Christmas cards.

Our sympathies to all of you.
