God grant that I may live to fish until my dying day, And when it comes to my last cast, Then I most humbly pray, When in the Lord’s safe landing net I’m peacefully asleep, That in His mercy I be judged As big enough to keep.

  • The Whitney family, LeRoy’s parents, were neighbors to my parents R. E. Millers in Dayton while I was growing up. When Dennis and I moved to Richland from Omaha in 1978, we purchased a home on Cottonwood Dr. We learned then that LeRoy and Willo were our neighbors! We enjoyed very much being their friends and neighbors. They were a very special couple. I think I have their old cat “Bob”. LeRoy and Willo will live in our hearts and memories. Our hearts go out to the family. Sharon & Dennis Van Houdt

  • We are so sorry to hear of LeeRoy’s death. He and Willo were our good neighbors when they lived on Cottonwood Drive in Richland. We remember and miss the good fresh vegetables he used to bring to us from his garden.

  • I was very sorry to hear of LeeRoy’s passing. Our families had a lot of great, fun times together, especially at Bunker’s Resort, Williams Lake, where LeeRoy would fish until the cows came home. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. Warmest regards, Susie Gross Rocke
