Joseph Wyatt Beaver
Our precious Son, Joseph Wyatt Beaver, Joey, went to be with his Lord & Grandpa Sunday, February 19th, 2006. Joey was born March 20th, 2000 in Richland, Washington to Chris and Amy Beaver. He brought great joy and excitement to the lives of everyone around him. He always wore a smile that could light up a room. Joey was a kindergarten student at Lewis & Clark Elementary, where he enjoyed playing with his friends and excelled as a student. Our little Joey was very spunky and adventurous. He enjoyed all the things five-year-old boys enjoy. If you ever met or knew Joey, you know that he was a combination of Curious George and Dennis the Menace! Joey was spontaneous and fearless as he explored the world.
WE FANCIED THAT WE HEARD THEM SAY
DEAR LORD THY WILL BE DONE
FOR ALL THE JOY THY CHILD WILL BRING,
THE RISK OF GRIEF WE RUN.
WE WILL SHELTER HIM WHILE WE MAY
AND FOR HAPPINESS WE HAVE NOW,
FOREVER GRATEFUL STAY.
BUT SHALL THE ANGELS CALL FOR HIM
MUCH SOONER THAN WE PLANNED
WE SHALL BRAVE THE BITTER GRIEF THAT COMES
AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND
Joey is survived by his parents, Chris and Amy Beaver, his Brothers: Scott, 12, Dallas, 9, and Zach, 5, all of Richland; Grandparents Max & Carol Nicholson of Pasco, and Carol & Ivan Boe of Benton City; Aunts and Uncles: Robert & Nicol Ramsey of Kennewick, Charlie & Tara Symons of Richland, Clark Beaver of Pasco, Cameron Hinshaw of Kennewick, and Shawn & Kathy Beaver of Pasco. Joey is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Joey was preceded in death by his Grandpa Chuck Symons.
Services will be held Saturday, February 25th at 2:00pm at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Richland. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Richland off of Williams. There will be a reception following the burial at 8607 Bell Street, Pasco.
An account has been established at Sterling Savings in the name of Joseph Beaver.
He made a difference. Where do you start, what do you say? Joey made a difference. The magic of his smile, the hi neighbor, the newly hatched duck or new puppy would instantly remove the veil of self from a grouchy old man.
I know the parents both loved and were proud of Joey, I also know that Joey loved and was proud of his parents and grandparents. I will always rember the laughter of the plastic bat duels from the lovingly prepared back yard play area. Joey knew he was loved. We share in your loss and pray for understanding.

Carol, Jesse and I were on vacation when Jason, our oldest son, told us of your tragic loss. We are so very sorry-the dark thread woven into the mat of life will show on The Upper Side when God reveals the “why” of it all. I am convinced beyond a doubt that innocent souls like Joey are playing in Heaven with their loved ones. Joey and Grandpa Chuck are having a good, good time together. Yet, we are left to mourn the passing of a sweetness that cannot be repeated in this life; Joey is his own unique person. God bless you. Jesse&Renee Martinez
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you that are going thru this terrible loss. God bless you all
