Eleanor Mae Daniels

Eleanor M. Daniels passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 6, 2006.

She was born on February 11, 1925 to Arthur and Nola Potts in Booth, WV.

She married Charles J. Daniels on February 27, 1946. They moved to Richland in 1951. In 1968 the family transferred to Wilmington, NC however this was very short lived, much to Mom's pleasure. She longed for her desert home. Upon returning to the Tri-Cities they bought their home in Pasco.

It was in Pasco that she found her niche. She began in earnest her dog grooming business and raising Toy Poodles.

Over the years she had many dogs that finished their AKC Championships, some Best in Show wins and one very special girl that competed at the prestigious Westminster Dog show, this was a very proud moment for Mom.

Through her dogs, she forged special friendships with so many people. Some that have spanned over 40 years.

Donations can be made in her name to the Humane Society or the ASPCA

In recent years Mom has been battling the debilitating affects of dementia. We were fortunate to have been able to keep her at home until her death. This would not have been possible without the loving care of her longtime friend and care provider, Jan Waymire.

Mom, You are finally free of your earthly confines. We will love and miss you forever!

Mom is survived by her husband of sixty years, Charles Daniels; her daughter Paula Miller and her husband Rick; Grandchildren, Caleb Anca and Mary and Julie Miller; brother James Potts Janet, of Missouri; sister, Pat Seara of Ohio. She was preceeded in death by her parents Arthur and Nola Potts and sister Miriam ''Mimi'' Masters.

At her request there will be no services.
