He served in numerous callings in the church, such as stake missionary, priest quorum advisor, ward executive secretary, elders quorum president, high priest group leader, and was a diligent and faithful home teacher. He loved to do genealogy, making numerous trips to the Genealogical Library in Utah in search of his ancestors. James and his wife served as workers in the Seattle Temple for several years. He enjoyed fishing and planned several fishing trips with his sons every year. He traveled many hours to watch and enjoy his sons play basketball and never missed a game.

Your Dad was one of the nicest men that I have ever worked for.
He was my supervisor AT PFP for many years.
He always made me laugh and was very much some one that I respected and loved working for.
I am so sorry for the loss of your parents and so very close to one another.
God Bless you all and just know that God needs him now.
I use to cook for all the workers on the job and your dad enjoyed all the feeds.
