EILEEN MAE PAYNE THORNTON

Eileen passed on April 27, 2006. She was born in Wenatchee, Washington, on April 7, 1927 to Roy and Leola Payne. On September 15, 1947, in South Wenatchee, Eileen married Eugene Valden Thornton. They eventually settled in Richland, Washington, and raised their four children, Ken, Nancy, Steve and Abbie in the Prosser area. Eileen had a strong Christian faith and hope for the future.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Gene, in 1996. She is survived by her four children, her brother, Sheridan Payne, and her sister, Alice Coleman, as well as four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A reception for friends and family will be held at 1 PM on Sunday, April 30, 2006, at Hampton Inn, 486 Bradley Blvd., Richland, WA.
