Lela Maybelle Wolf was born March 24, 1921 in McFarland, Kansas. She was raised in the surrounding area and graduated from nursing school at Santa Fe Hospital in 1942. She eventually married in May 1946 in Austin, Texas to Jerome Howard Wolf deceased October, 1996. They moved to the Tri-City area shortly afterward and later divorced in 1963. She worked for almost 40 years as a registered nurse at local hospitals including Our Lady of Lourdes in Pasco.

One son, Douglas Gene Wolf preceded her in death. Survivors include sons Michael Marie Wolf of Prosser, WA, Chris Pat Wolf of Bloomfield Hills, MI, John Wolf of Seattle, WA; three grandchildren, Bret Weber of Kennewick, WA, Kristin Wolf of Minneapolis, MN, and Brian Wolf of Royal Oak, MI; cousin Maxine Ball of Wamego, KS.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 PM Saturday, April 8, 2006 at Einan’s Funeral Home, with a reception following. Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday April 7, 2006, also at Einan’s.
