Dear Buck, Hilde, Jenna and Mike Jr.,
Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time. How special it was Jenna that your Daddy was able to participate in your graduation, we’re very proud of you and can only imagine what that meant to you both. We know your grandparents from bowling and the Moose Lodge and our hearts go out to all of you.
Don DJ and Karen Johnson, and Ashley Barros.
To the Family of Mike,
I am sorry to see that Mike has passed away. Mike and I were classmates and went through Lewis & Clark Elementary, Carmichael Jr.HS and Columbia HS RHS together. I enjoyed his friendship during our school years. Since our HS graduation, in 1968, I often wonder what path each of my classmates took. It is apparent that Mike contributed greatly to both his family and the community. So, although belatedly, Mike, THANK YOU!
My Dad and I were talking about Mike’s passing and learned that my parents Bob & Aleene Bush still in Richland, WA were in a travel club with Mike’s mother. A reminder as to how small the world really is!
Condolences to the family!!

Mike was a very articulate and likable person. I know he will be missed very much especially by his children-Mikey and Jenna.
I hope that his death from lung cancer due to smoking will increase awareness of how harmful smoking is, especially for all the youngsters.
My thoughts are with all of you and I am so sorry for your loss.

Hall Family: I’m so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. I am one of Mike’s fellow classmates and was married to one of his good friends, Don Smith. Lots of memories in High School of those darn boys always working on someone’s car…Smiths, Poynors, Dudleys, McPeeks… We also met & spent some time with Teresa when they lived in Kennewick, but then lost touch. Sounds like Mike left his mark upon this world and will be greatly missed by many.
Sincerely, Jodi, class of 68
