  • Richard was my cousin. Our families were very close and we saw each other almost daily when we were growing up. He was only a few months younger than I, and although I have not been in close touch with him for several years now, he will always be with me in my heart and my memories. I will miss him very much.

  • Where do you even begin to express your feelings over the loss of someone so important and special. Rich always made me smile at work and working at PetSmart could get the best of anyone. He always had a way of making me laugh or just listening when work was really crummy that day. He kept me in high spirits and always reminded me why I stayed and how I was making a difference. I especially appreciated the way he helped my mom when she got a bird, he took the time to make sure she had all she needed for her new friend and she knew how to care for him. I will miss hearing Rich say Hey Hey whenever he would say hello to me, or even the way he would chew his gum. I guess PetSmart won’t need a special microwave for him to blow his coffee up in anymore. His family will be in my prayers for a long time to come. God Bless you Rich!

  • I was shocked and saddened to learn of my cousin’s passing. I corresponded with him via e-mail a few times in the late 90’s; but lost contact with him in recent years.

I enjoyed growing up with my cousins just across town. We got to visit and play together quite often. Those were the “good old days”.

I’ll always remember Rich with that sly grin, and sinister laugh of his. It always made you think that he was up to something. And he usually was! …. He could always make me laugh. He’ll surely be missed.

My condolences go out to Rich’s immediate and extended families… Our lives are better for having known him.

  • I ment Rich at PetSmart when my daughter was working their. I was looking at the birds and saw this one that the other birds were picking on. Rich was very helpful in telling me all about this bird. I adopted the bird and he has a good home now. I would think of Rich once in awhile when I talk to my bird. Rich was a kind person , and even tho I didn’t know Him very well, only to say hi when I came in with my daughter or when I came to pick her up with her husband. I will always remember how soft spoken and kind He was, along with His smile. My prayers will be with you all. Marlene Isaacson
